BERRI earned a record deal in 1994 at the tender age of nineteen. Her first release, dance anthem Sunshine After the Rain raced into the charts, peaking at number four, and staying in the Top Ten for nine weeks. Follow-up Shine Like a Staralso went straight into the charts and reached number one in the Club Charts.

Both releases enjoyed international success with Sunshine After the Rain earning gold records in both the UK and Australia.

In the intervening years Rebecca worked at the world’s biggest recording studios, Metropolis, in Chiswick, patronised by such global greats as Madonna, The Stones and Andrew Lloyd Webber. Whilst working in London, Rebecca became hugely popular as a session singer, working with some of the world’s best known musicians – not least, international guitar legend, Jeff Beck.
