Fabrizio Faniello performing at the Malta Eurovision Song ContestFabrizio Faniello from Malta has represented Malta twice at the Eurovision Song Contest with his Songs “Another Summer Night” and “I Do”.

 

After this success for Malta his singles and albums have been released in many other European countries. In Sweden he had a Top 10 hit with “I´m in Love (The Whistle Hit)”. This was followed by releases in more than 30 countries and Chart-Hits in Denmark, Finland, Sweden, Belgium, Germany, Romania, and lots of Asian countries. In Indonesia he received the Award “Ambassador of The Year” in 2010.

 

In 1999 he won the International Music Festival in Malta with “Sa L-ahhar” and in 2013 he was the winner of the Konkors Kanzunetta Indipendenza with his song “Aħfirli Jekk Trid, he has also twice won the “Best Male Singer of the Year”.

 

In 2001 when Fabrizio Faniello first represented Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest being held at the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen, Denmark he performed “Another Summer Night” in front of 38,000 people in the audience, and a global TV audience of over 100 million people.  He finished in 9th place after taking the maximum points from host country Denmark.

 

“Another Summer Night” went on to be a massive hit in Europe, climbing in both radio and sales charts. Fabrizio continues to have a successful international career in the music industry, with a string of successful singles and albums in Europe, Asia and even America.

 

In 2006 he again represented Malta at the Eurovision Song Contest this time at held at the Nikos Galis Olympic Arena in Athens, Greece performing “I Do”.
