Let Loose scored seven Top 30 hits between 1994-1997, including three top 10 singles. They made 11 appearances on the iconic Top Of The Pops and were celebrated as the boy band that could actually play their instruments.
Their biggest hit, “Crazy For You,” peaked at Number 2 for several weeks and became a 90s anthem. It was one of the best-selling singles of the decade, spending a total of 21 weeks on the charts. Let Loose was named Best Newcomers of 1994 by The Sun newspaper and the much-missed pop magazine Smash Hits.
In late August 2023, a new chapter began for Let Loose. Discussions between Lee Murray, Rob Jeffrey, and Bad Boys Inc lead vocalist Matthew Pateman led to his joining the lineup. This garnered significant media attention in all the tabloids, The Metro, national and regional radio, and online.
The new Let Loose lineup has already written and produced a new single, “If The World Was Ending,” which has been well received by fans and media, and is featured on the Universal Album “Rediscovered All-Stars.”
Let Loose were recently featured in a documentary film about the music industry in the 90’s. Looking back on how it was then and how it is today.
