LOLLY

In the summer of 1999, Lolly made a splash on the UK pop scene with her top ten hit “Viva La Radio.” Her follow-up single, “Mickey,” soared into the top five, solidifying her status as one of pop’s rising stars. Both singles were featured on her debut album, aptly named “My First Album,” which peaked at number 21. Her third single, a double A-side featuring “Big Boys Don’t Cry” and a cover of “Rockin’ Robin,” completed her trio of top ten hits.

Lolly’s second album, “Pick ‘n’ Mix,” dropped in 2000 and produced the top twenty hits “Per Sempre Amore (Forever In Love)” and a cover of Cyndi Lauper’s “Girls Just Wanna Have Fun.” After her music career, Lolly transitioned back to her real name, Anna, and embarked on a successful career as a television presenter. Anna became a prominent face for the CBBC Digital channel, presenting a variety of shows ranging from the Junior Proms in the Park to the lively magazine-style show, Xchange. She also hosted MTV Select and appeared on numerous shows and continuity segments for Nickelodeon, CITV, and the Disney Channel.
