Suzanna Dee
SUZANNA DEE was born in Leeds, England. She understood from an early age (8) that she had a passion for singing and had an ability to harmonise. After mastering her craft, she went to work with the now legendary Music Factory in Sheffield, England where Tidy Trax was born and where her career started. Suzanna is an all-round singer/songwriter, backing vocalist, producer, and vocal arranger.
Her journey started out way back in 1997 where her first track, called ‘Evolver by Evolver’, was released under the Tidy Trax label (Fabric of Life). The track was played all around the world by Top DJ’s including DJ Tiesto, DJ Paul van Dyk and Ian Van Dahl to name just a few.
In 2003, she shot to fame with an official Top 40 hit with the cover of Marie McKee’s ‘Show Me Heaven’ as a dance anthem which was signed with various record labels including Ministry of Sound and Clubland which landed her three Gold & one Silver Disc.
Behind the scenes Suzanna’s commitment and determination to further her career has seen her having the pleasure to work with the likes Spice Girls doing production and vocal arranging along with S-Club 7, Billie Piper, Jane McDonald to name a few. She has worked with many other singers including, various PWL artists along with Alexandra O’Neil, Tony Hadley, Lulu, Beverley Knight performing at prestigious venues such at MGM Grand in Las Vegas, Royal Albert Hall, Hyde Park and various large Prides across the UK.
In 2022 Suzanna was nominated to become UK Ambassador for Pride and has written the first UK Pride Anthem ‘Be as One’ and her mission is that this is not her song, but this is song to reach out to the LBGT+ community. As an advocate of the LBGT+ over the last 25 years, her passion drove her to project manage a track which was released by the one and only pop diva Sybil, with a track that she released in 1993 called ‘Stronger Together’ which had to raise funds for ILGA-Europe. This project included Sybil herself, Sam Bailey, Angie Brown, Mary Kiani and many more. Another track Suzanna released was called ‘A Song I’m Going to Write’ which was written by the Eurovision king lyricist Charlie Mason who wrote ‘Rise Like a Pheonix’ for Conquita.
Suzanna had a few TV appearances as part of ‘The 100’ Judges from BBC One’s programme ‘All Together Now’ Series One and Series Two along with Channel 5’s ‘Jane and Friends’ supporting Jane McDonalds’ show as her backing vocalist.
She now currently co-writes and producers Electronic Dance Music tracks with global successful DJ’s/Producers that work under the banner of Above & Beyond; Ajunabeats; Vandit records, All Around The World (AATW) and many more.
